Bios of Owners

Herman M. Ellis

A graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Ellis began his career in the United States Navy monitoring biological threats to the active-duty Navy and Marine Corps of the Atlantic Fleet. At present time, Dr. Ellis is now practicing primary care and addiction medicine. He has held academic positions at Columbia University, Meharry Medical College, Virginia Commonwealth University, and others. He has been a mediator for three (3) Fortune 500 companies and was the CMO of a Fortune 500 company with responsibility for policy development in 44 countries. Dr. Ellis was the Clinical Division Director (COO) of the United States Department of Health and Human Services Federal Occupational Health, an agency with 1500 employees and a budget of $115M providing health services to 1,000,000 federal employees. At Meharry Medical College, Dr. Ellis was Chair of the College’s Physician Practice Plan covering over 200 primary care and specialists both surgical and non-surgical. Dr. Ellis has 43 years of experience with master’s degrees in health education and nutrition. He is board certified in public health and general preventive medicine.

Kelli Gregory

Attended North Carolina Central University as an accounting major. She did bookkeeping for her parents’ business for over 12 years as well as her brother’s for 7. She began her medical career with Greenspring Behavioral Health/Magellan Health Services and was promoted from a temporary employee to the manager of the Maryland account. She managed 3 departments and 60 employees including the Mailroom Eligibility Department as well as Claims Processors. She spent 13 years with the company. She currently consults with various practices handling credentialing and billing as well as compliance auditing and physician referral services. Kelli has assisted with setting up 10 medical practices, ASC, and treatment CTRS in MD, DC, VA, and DE regions. Her knowledge of State rules and regulations is her main area of expertise. Ensuring practices are practiced and operating based on regulations.
